The theme for 2011 is forests: Nature at Your Service. In fact, forests cover one third of the earth’s land mass, performing vital functions and services around the world, which make our planet alive with possibilities. As part of the Earth, we have the responsibilities to perform our task to protect the Earth.
As students, we cannot do as much as a leader of country can do. However, small actions do mean something! 3R concept is very simple and easy to achieve, Reuse, Reduce and Recycle! Papers are made of trees. Everyone is encouraged to apply the 3Rs concept on papers. Reuse all the papers; use it on both sides. Then, we can reduce the usage of paper and result in reduce of chopping down trees. Recycle the newspaper and paper, which are used.
Your help is much appreciated. As part of the Earth, do your part and spread among your friends to ensure that they do the same to save the forest.
