Review & Target setting Students reflect on their SA1 performance and set targets for SA2.

My eyes gleamed with surprise, I was experiencing moments of ecstasy. I could not keep still and kept on asking myself if this was true. Yes, it was! My name appeared the first in the SA1 rank list. I was the first in level. Teachers congratulated me and friends were happy and felt proud for me.
However, I know, I did not put in the maximized efforts for SA1. I sacrificed my sleeping time to study all the notes at the very last minute. I know I could have performed even better if I started to study two weeks before SA1.
From my opinion, I underperformed for Science because it is a subject, which needs a lot of effort to truly understand and remember all the important information. My last minute style was not efficient for Science. I swear I would change over a new leaf.
Besides, I always had my phone beside me when I was studying. SMS and Facebook in my phone were the distractions to me. My parents threatened me that they would confiscate my phone if I were more focused on phone but not studies.
In fact, I would like to remain my first in level trough out the whole year. At the first place, I must be more attentive and hardworking. In SA1, I achieve A1 for all subjects except for Art with an A2 and English with a B3. My targets are to maintain the A1s and improve my result of Art and English.
If there is a will, there is a way, I strongly believe. The very first criterion is you are willing to work hard and do whatever it is going to take.
